Perez Hilton the Queen of Publicity and Gossip was rolling in and ice cream truck today in Beverly Hills. In a park, I think it was the same one that George Michael got arrested in a while back for soliciting in the men's bathroom.
Perez wasn't "hooking up the George Michael way". Hilton was giving out concert tickets for MIKA. The funny thing is, I've been trying to figure out the name of the singer for a couple of weeks now. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I'm in love with HBO. I recently started to watch TV again after years of abstinence. I don't consider HBO TV. HBO is much better than regular stuff on the boob tube. Getting back to the point. I would hear songs on some of the movies that I was watching and I didn't know the name of the singer. I knew he sounded much like Freddy Mercury of Queen - who I adore for his musicality and theatrics. But for the life of me I couldn't remember his name and I was talking to a friend recently trying to explain the guy that sounds like Freddy Mercury with a very high voice and sings very happy songs. Well that guy happens to be the same one that I met today....MIKA.
Mika is a charming talent and arrived in the ice cream truck much to the delight of fans who were told via Perez Hilton's website to come to the park for ice cream and free concert tickets. Clever, Clever, Clever PR. Perez is NO JOKE. I used to do marketing and promotions for Fortune 500 companies. I learned alot from promoting all kinds of diverse brands from pizza to beer but when I see a Master, I give credit where credit is due and Perez Hilton is a MASTER.
