Dick Van Patten star of 8 is Enough was walking around Robertson with one of his sons when I had the pleasure of meeting them. Dick is cool. I just found out he is eighty years young. He still keeps up with his son who was walking real fast.
Anyway, Mr. Patten has a successful pet food called Natural Balance that was co-founded in 1989. Unlike most people let alone celebrities, Dick Van Patten has been married to the same spouse for 55 years. We chatted for a bit and Dick and his son told me that they didn't like NEWSROOM restaurant. We both agreed that the service is terrible and the food isn't that good. Newsroom is only good for happy hour if you drink. Otherwise skip it.
