A week later from when a jury (with no African Americans on the panel) gave a cop involuntary manslaughter for shooting to DEATH Oscar Grant, an unarmed, handcuffed behind his back, face down and restrained by another officer with a knee on his neck on New Year's Eve. I had to take a pause and think of the many blessings of living there are. The many miracles that don't cost anything except taking the time to enjoy them. So in memory of Oscar Grant and all those who lost their lives by others being careless, ignorant, or just plain stupid, may we all take time to think before we hurt someone or in fact kill them.
