The Original Catwoman: Julie Newmar Seen At NARS

Gorgeous Julie Newmar seen at NARS makeup on Melrose while Kim K was filming shenanigans a few doors down at DASH. My favorite Catwoman needed assistance walking but she seemed in good spirits. I was discreet shooting her.

DARK KNIGHT RISES: Big Stars In The Most Anticipated Film of The Summer

Due to music playing loudly on Hollywood Blvd outside of American Apparel and youtube's copyright cops, I had to edit out the sound of these videos of Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman & Gary Oldman and Anne Hathaway. The cast of DARK KNIGHT RISES were signing autographs after a hasty 4th of July weekend hand and foot ceremony at Grauman's Chinese. The last in the trilogy of BATMAN played by Christian Bale is due out in three days. DARK KNIGHT RISES not only already has Oscar buzz but is expected to be the HIT of the summer.

The Dark Knight Rises On Hollywood Amidst Early Oscar Buzz

Imagine my shock when arriving on Hollywood Blvd and seeing The Dark Knight cast doing a hand print ceremony at Grauman's during the July 4th extended weekend. Who knew? I was out of the loop. Anyway, I had to shoot fast and cry later. The early industry buzz is that the finale of the Christian Bale BATMAN - Dark Knight Trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan is Oscar worthy. For fans of Batman and of Catwoman, the wait is almost over. July 20th The Dark Knight Rises.

Bruce Lee, Tony Jaa, Jet Li & Jackie Chan; Who Would Win A Fight?

With one of my favorite martial artists releasing Ong Bak 3 in the United States last week, Tony Jaa as well as Anne Hathaway being cast as the latest Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, it was only natural to have Hollywood Spiderman and Venom give me their views on who would win a fight between Bruce Lee, Tony Jaa, Jet Li and Jackie Chan. Another coincidence is Spider-Man Reboot with the Social Network star Andrew Garfield has been shooting in Los Angeles.

The Late Great EARTHA KITT

Eartha Kitt passed away. Her song "SANTA BABY" is on the charts. What a woman!!!
Catwoman was played Purrfectly by her on the BATMAN TV series. Kitt and Julie Newmar are my favorite Catwomen.
What I liked most about Eartha Kitt, was her fiery personality. She was hip to fight for civil rights. She lived on her own terms. Her stances got her kicked out of America but she held strong. She had a voice that was rich like fine cognac. She spoke several languages but French on her tongue sounded magnificently. Broadway Star, Movie Star, TV Actress, Political Activist, Dancer, Singer and so much more.
The heavens now have another bright star to add to the magnificence, L'etoile EARTHA KITT.
