Here are some stills of the great Carlos Varela band and Jackson Browne at the EchoPlex...

Jackson Browne: LOVE IS STRANGE

Jackson Browne new album with David Lindley LOVE IS STRANGE comes out May 11th. I caught up with Browne recently before the Carlos Varela concert at the EchoPlex. I like lyrics, I like words that touch me and I like artists that can sing as well as write. Jackson Browne is one of these talents who sings honestly and pure about heartbreak, love and starting over. Plus he takes great pictures.

Carlos Varela & Jackson Browne

Carlos Varela performed at The EchoPlex last night. It was a wonderful concert. Although I didn't understand many of the words sung, I could feel Varela's heart. From Cuba, Carlos Varela prefers to live in his native country and sing his truth. Varela is his own man. Another legend, Jackson Browne presented Carlos Varela's concert and a wonderful moment transpired when he didn't have the lyrics....

Later Jackson translated the poetry of Varela's words...
