BP Block Media Access: The Vampire of Oil Part 2
This is the first video by someone else that I have ever put on my blog. This video is so important that I'm putting it here to further the discussion on BP Oil. The following video is from WDSU Channel 6 in New Orleans, LA. All copyrights to the video belong to WDSU TV in New Orleans.
The same private contractors working for BP Oil have the same type of behavior of the BID patrol in Hollywood, CA. There is a private security force growing through out America who can deny citizens their rights. Why is that? And why does a foreign corporation have control of a PUBLIC United States Beach? Also there are very few workers actually on the site for clean up and they aren't wearing significant protective gear. Makes me wonder if BP is really cleaning up the mess or just pretending?

BP: The Vampire of Oil
As pictures, videos and news conferences spew out of the Gulf, there is a growing belief that more oil than has been reported from BP is coming out of the spill. According to the Huffington Post, "Scientists now say the blown-out well could have been spewing as much as 2 million gallons of crude a day before a cut-and-cap maneuver started capturing some of the flow, meaning more than 100 million gallons may have leaked into the Gulf of Mexico since the start of the disaster in April. That is more than nine times the size of the 1989 Exxon Valdez disaster, previously the worst oil spill in U.S. history."
Knowing that majority of corporations main objective is GREED as told by Michael Douglas in the original WALL STREET movie, "Greed Is Good" and because of my personal dealings with people in business, believing in anything BP says is foolish. The only thing to trust is the facts and to have independent scientists and environmentalists investigate BP safety records as well as the Oil Spill itself. Destruction of the Gulf has far more reaching consequences than we know. With the death and injury of wildlife, marine life, the changing of the temperature of ocean as well as the pollution of it and the vegetation surrounding the oil spill, we could be looking at damage for decades if not hundreds of years.
The Oil Spill is also a mixture of natural gas. I'm not a scientist but it seems logical that marine life will have a hard time living off of a mixture of oil and gas while the level of oxygen is diminished. Literally the food chain becomes unstable from the tiniest life to the largest. Knowing that risk, why isn't there technology already in place to secure and clean up Oil Spill or better yet not let it happen in the first place?
If the oceans are the start of our existence and the "blood" of the Earth, than BP and others like them are truly Vampires.
