Yesterday's elimination was a SHOCKER! Considering Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel received perfect 10s from the judges and have been dancing better and better each week. It makes many wonder if Hurricane Sandy caused lower voter turn out for DWTS? Also it shows how unfair it is when a great couple get the boot because they aren't "Popular" enough. This dancing duo couldn't have danced any better. It is a shame that they were knocked out of the competition.

Who Shot Rock And Roll Exhibit At The Anneberg Space For Photography Closes

The last days and nights at the The Anneberg Space for Photography were jammed back with fans of great photography and Rock & Roll. I went Saturday night and checked out the "Who Shot Rock and Roll" Documentary. It was the best part of the exhibit for me. Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Noel Gallagher, Linda McCartney's archives, John Lennon in New York as well as the interviews with the photographers were my favorite part. It was a wonderful exhibit. Kudos to the Anneberg for producing such a fantastic showing of some great moments in music and cultural history.

It was also great to see subjects Grace Jones, Ian Gallagher, Bono having a section in the show as well as the Rock Icons being some of my favorite stars that I've photographed and video'd over the past few years. I look forward to having my own exhibit with my favorite photographs and videos soon.

After suffering a neck injury during Sunday's Camera Blocking Rehearsals Group Dance, DWTS All Stars Contestant Melissa Rycroft is questionable to perform tonight with partner Tony Dovolani. Rycroft was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the accident. Week 5 is "Guilty Pleasures" on Dancing With The Stars tonight and the 8 remaining couples will perform two dances. Hopefully, Melissa Rycroft is OK and will do what is best for her safety.

Hollywood Zombies Coming Or Already In A City/Town Near You

 With the never ending war, the powers that be playing roulette with commodities, gas fixing, the outsourcing of American jobs to slave labor in foreign countries, America's love for narcissism and self centeredness has caused a One Eyed Monster. A Zombie Cyclops is a great metaphor for what the Republic has fallen to. A monster only concerned with getting cheap labor, fulfilling its addictions in oil, technology, stimulants, food, alcohol, violence, sex, control, power and what ever else is on our top ten list by grasping for other countries' resources.

 

As a one eyed beast, we have little perception and depth of understanding how our brutal and unconscious tunnel vision will effect us in the long run. Outsourcing of jobs causes a void in our Economic Foundation. Lowering wages and destroying unions here  via unfair Trade Agreements, destroys economic stability. We are killing our future for cheap products made in China yet many will wait in line for an iPhone for hours to be hip. I'm sure most people who have a iPhone5 think they are pretty conscious. And the delusion continues, Steve Jobs said himself that the jobs that put together the iPhone and products like it are gone from America forever. Jobs liked the idea that he could get his workers in China to get up in the middle of the night and fix any issue at a snap of his finger. Ironically, Steve Jobs is dead of cancer. America is showing signs of the same ill will.

As we close our eyes and only focus on our selfish desires, the rest of the body looses stability. Time for Americans to wake up. Stop living in a dumb down FDA approved medicated reality TV Playstation game that you can tweet your friends. Time to comprehend Cause and Effect. Action and Reaction.

There will be more and more homeless, mentally unstable people roaming our cities and towns. 

With no food, shelter, water or health care what do you think they will do to eat and live?

The Presidential contestants don't even address the increasing rise in Homelessness.

DWTS All Stars Week 4 Bristol Palin Sent Packing

As usual a couple that could have easily been eliminated a week or two weeks ago, survives to be eliminated later than what was expected. Bristol Palin (reality star) {is that an oxymoron?} and partner Mark Ballas (who I'm sure was crushed not to be dancing with the amazing Shawn Johnson) were voted off tonight on DWTS All Stars. There is no spilled milk for this kitty. DWTS All Stars has some of the best choreography, dances and talent ever assembled on the dance floor. The only ones competing should be the absolute best. So kudos to the remaining STARS. They Deserve it!

Freak Accident At Hollywood and Highland Metro Leaves Two Seriously Injured

A bizarre freak accident occurred when a wheel chair bound person and her care giver rode the escalator at Hollywood & Highland Metro station. The escalator malfunctioned, stopped and left the pair trapped. Once the two were removed by LAFD and transported away from the scene, the remnants of the accident included a shoe, parts of a wheel chair, clothing and blood.

KAT Catches The Endeavor The L.A.'s Voiceless Get The Shaft

Funny thing happened when I try to find the Endeavor shuttle while it flies over L.A. It is too bad the fly by/over excitement was a slight of hand media trick to avoid some bigger issues:

1. Removing 400 Mature Trees
2. The Tree Removal happened without citizens' approval
3. The Tree Removal happened in a mostly Black Neighborhood
4. Air quality is normally worse in vulnerable areas that house Blacks, Hispanics and people that aren't Rich
5. As someone else put it, there is no way in Hell this would occurred in Beverly Hills
6. Mature trees help filter the air
7. The tree cutting will happened in a densely populated area with serious air quality challenges by LAX, Inglewood and Westchester
8. The air quality in an already polluted area will drastically change without mature trees.
9. Young trees don't filter as much carbon dioxide
10. Trees help filter animal waste, pollution and house animals
11. How will birds and bees and other animals be effected?
12. Visually, the neighborhoods with the Tree Removal will aesthetically be changed for the worse
13. The City and The California Science Center  promises to plant 4 times the number of trees but how long will that take
14. The City and The California Science Center   promises to create jobs targeted for youths to replant and maintenance the Trees removed for the Endeavor Shuttle
15. The California Science Center which will house the Shuttle Endeavor, has made a lot of promises - Will They Keep Them?
16. They also promise to give out at least 10 Scholarships to youths in the community

Who knows what kind of timeline the City as well as The California Science Center is talking about? Who knows what kind of irreparable damage removing mature trees in a densely populated area will do at the same time?
You you think there would be some Scientists at the California Science Center that would be concerned about the environmental damage the massive mature Tree Removal will do to the area.
So although I was excited at the time watching the Space Shuttle Endeavor pass, the statement of "Fuck me, Fuck me!" might actually be accurate when talking about the larger crime of  massive Tree Removal in L.A.

WTH? Helios Castroneves & Chelsie Hightower Voted Off DWTS All Stars

I've said it time and time again, DWTS is a popularity contest not just a dance show. Besides the grueling rehearsals, the producers expect the contestants/pros to actively promote the show 24/7. No matter how good you are, if you don't bring in the votes like a smiling politician, you won't last. That is the case with Helios Castroneves unfortunately two very bad things happened.

1. Horrible Costume Error of a too long dress caused Helios to step on it.
2. Helios Castroneves hasn't been in the news for doing anything too bad or too good.

Unfortunately, Castroneves just didn't have the fan base voting for him and Palin did.

Bristol Palin Proves "Life Isn't Fair!"

Hey, I've been so busy shooting photographs and videos as well as editing, plus working my other job that I've been too spent to update my blog. Until Now! Like the song says, "I'm only human...of flesh and blood I'm made." Imagine my surprise when I was informed that Bristol Palin with the help of Mark Ballas survived another week on DWTS All Stars. Bristol Palin proves several:

• Like minded people help each other (by voting aka giving their support).
• Sob stories work.
• Being a white young single mother is OK if your privileged while your political mother speaks against Planned Parenthood and Sex Education to the masses.
• One can be less talented at a position and still remain on the job
• If you have a high profile family member who will sit in the audience at DWTS, you are more likely to stay on than if you don't.
• Being famous for immature decisions and having no substantial talent if you are from a Privileged Class is an acceptable norm in these reality TV show times.
• Getting plastic surgery, loosing weight and becoming like a "Stepford Wife" is a sure sign of joining the gang in Hollywood
• The Producers of DWTS love to irritate the fans of show by having people like Bristol Palin and Chaz Bono on and on and on. They know that disliking someone causes an interesting reaction by talking about them which I'm unfortunately doing it.
• Lastly, Palin proves without a doubt LIFE IS NOT FAIR!
