KAT & Lynnelle Talk Trayvon Martin & Cory Monteith

Lynnelle and I have been extremely busy working so we finally got a chance last night to do another one of our videos. We share our thoughts on the recent events following the acquittal of Trayvon Martin's killer George Zimmerman and the death from an overdose of GLEE star Cory Monteith. We give straight talk on the new version of the slave trade - The American Penal System.

Lynnelle ON THE COUCH

Lynnelle and I have been working on a project to encourage a discussion regarding the stress, challenges, aspirations, ups and downs that we both are going through respectively. This is the first video of a series of interviews that we did called "ON THE COUCH" where we take turns venting about what's happening in our lives. In this video, Lynnelle speaks candidly about what it is like for her to care for her ailing mother.

The Aftermath of Whitney Houston's Death: All About The Money with KAT & Lynnelle

If you aren't aware, the night before Whitney Houston's death, I decided to skip the Grammy's parties and start a documentary that I wanted to do for a long time regarding Addiction and helping people avoid the traps of it with my friend Lynnelle (who has been sober from crack addiction for 15 years). During the original video we discussed Whitney Houston among other celebs and the double standard of the rich vs the working person when they have challenges with addiction.

To say the least regardless of what I heard about Whitney Houston in the days before her death I was shocked and sadden with her passing. And a little freaked out. After Whitney's death Lynnelle and I got together and did more videos. By a twist of fate the original video wouldn't load so there was a considerable delay in putting it up on my blog and youtube. Anyway, here it is broken down into smaller bits. Also in another twist of the fate, the family of Ms. Houston is calling for an investigation on her death. They think it is murder? But will their requests be taken seriously because it is easy to discount their theory because Whitney Houston was labeled a drug addict. Regardless of the outcome one thing is certain, It is ALL ABOUT THE $$$$...

The Night Before Whitney Houston Died

I've been sadden by the news of the Icon Whitney Houston passing. I was so excited about her being seen out and about on pre-Grammy red carpet parties. I thought she looked good inside the clubs and she seemed to be having a good time. Anyway, my prayers go out to her family and loved ones especially Bobbi Kristina who has been to the hospital after the death of her mother.
Friday night, I was exhausted after a long day but I had made plans to meet up with my friend Lynnelle to continue our discussions. I've mentioned her numerous times because I felt a long time ago that her story was something that could help people battling addiction and also to educate those who are dealing with someone with addictions. Lynnelle has been sober for 15 years. She used to do crack cocaine. Her favorite artist is Whitney Houston. So late on Friday night, we got together and had a long discussion about sobriety and battling addiction. This was an honest discussion and maybe it will help others. I hope so. It was as if we had a little "meeting" ourselves and shared it with the world. This video is dedicated to anyone battling triggers of addiction. Eventually I will combine the video put for now it is in 3 segments.
