The Apple Corp + Apple = the Beatles on iTunes
I didn't know why it took so long for the Beatles to be on iTunes. Come to find out that the Beatles founded their music company Apple Corps in 1968 and Apple (macintosh) were in a long and winding dispute over trademark infringement. Finally the case was resolved in 2007. But it took another 3 years for contracts to be hammered out. Also the curious fact that Michael Jackson owned the copyrights of all Beatles songs except 4 according to Answers.com. Did Michael Jackson's death may have hasten the iTunes Beatles deal?
