Steve Wonder Walks On By At The Grove

Funny thing, I was at the Grove recently and I was transfixed by this man's afro. I was so busy looking at it that it was all that I could see. I thought he had to be a musician to rock that cool look. I asked a camera guy from Mario Lopez's crew who was that guy. He said Stevie Wonder. Stevie Wonder was hid from my view by a large body guard so I didn't even see him. I just saw the man with the groovy afro. I jumped up and had to do some Matrix like moves because a child was in a stroller and I didn't want to bump into them. I apologized while I was going in slow fast motion backwards so I could get pictures of a legend. I avoided contact with the stroller at all cost. I think my ankle tapped the wheel but everyone was safe...

Margaret Cho Brings Her A-Game to the Grove

DWTS' Comic underdog Margaret Cho brought her A-Game to the Grove recently. Mario Lopez interviewed her about her premiere performance on Monday's Dancing With The Stars. Las Vegas odds have Jennifer Grey as the one to beat while rumors say singer Brandy has some killer moves. Wouldn't it be delightful if Margaret Cho surprises us with her dancing skills!

Aaron & Nick Carter Go See Inglorious Basterds

I never know how to spell Bastards is it with an "a" or with an "e" Basterds? Anyway, DWTS' Mr. Confident Aaron Carter was taking a break with his brother Nick Carter at the Grove. The duo went to see Inglorious Basterds which is a very long movie. So long in fact that the Grove security started chasing paps out. Some got overly excited over Heidi Klum. Security decided to put the smack down and said they were calling the cops. I was just standing waiting not causing any trouble but I had to ask why I couldn't be there when I have been at the Grove numerous times. And the security guy said only TMZ could be there. Oh Hell to the No! If TMZ is the only "one" with permission to be at the Grove than our society is doomed. Photographers as long as they behave themselves are there to document celebs buying, shopping, going to and from the movies and eating at swanky restaurants. It makes the business establishments more popular. And with this economy that is a good thing. I was about to call the ACLU when finally Aaron & Nick Carter came out of IB.

Jewel at the Grove

I chatted with Jewel over the weekend at the Grove. She was there to see THE SOLOIST with Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr.

Jewel had her pet with her while Ty Murray her husband was busy rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars. Having an insider view on Dancing With The Stars, Jewel said she wasn't sure if she would do the show at a later time. Due to the injury prone show, Jewel told me that there needed to be more professionals on the show to make sure the participants were warmed up and stretched before and after practice.

Jewel also told me that she has a new album coming out. Jewel and Ty are two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of interviewing and meeting.

The Ballas Hough Band Rocks Out at the Grove

I was pleasantly surprised last night at the Grove. I saw the Mark Ballas and Derek Hough Band rocking out.
They were very good. Steve Wozniak and Shawn Johnson was were there having fun. Both took times to take time with fans. Steve Wozniak had lots to say. Maybe he should have his own show.

Literally bumped into Cloris Leachman at the Grove Tuesday night. The amazing comedic actress was on her way to her book signing at Barnes & Noble.
