STARZ Picks up Torchwood Fires Up Los Angeles

Now I know why the crew of 'Torchwood' tried to stop photographs on the streets of Los Angeles a while back. They didn't want anyone to know that their production had officially moved to Los Angles, CA and was being produced by STARZ. If you want privacy go to a studio and shoot indoors. A bunch of photographers and tourists were in the neighborhood that week because there was major action going on with J. Edgar the movie directed by Clint Eastwood as well as a bunch of other productions shooting. Anyway, John Barrowman gave up some great photos eventually which was cool. But nothing is secret for long on the streets of Los Angeles. There are artists/photographers and people with cell phones taking pictures constantly so if you want privacy don't film on a major down street in the morning. 'Torchwood' is a popular sci-fi drama in the U.K.. Maybe under STARZ's wing they will become more popular like the SPARTACUS series.
