While rushing to move my car from due to parking restrictions, I spied a man with a very cool haircut and I couldn't believe my luck as I went up to him and said "Excuse me are you in one of my favorite bands...?" Yes he was! Anyway, he confirmed that he was indeed Noel Gallagher. And I was so excited I talked to him like a long lost friend. I asked him what he was doing in town. He said he was recording an album. I told him that "WONDERWALL" was one of my favorite songs of all time and that how much I enjoyed listening to it while on a plane to Europe. Noel was very sweet and he said thank you. We talked about his brother Liam. I said all that division created such great music and that it was too bad that they had to disband. He called his brother and idiot and I asked him if he was perfect? He said he wasn't. Then we talked about what he wanted to do while he was in Los Angeles in his free time. Gallagher said he like jazz and art. I mentioned some places for him to go. Noel Gallagher made my day. Moments like that make me very happy. I wish him the best in his solo work. And peace with his brother Liam.

ReplyDeleteLiam's an "idiot" is he? Noel should take a peek in a mirror once in a while. No one is perfect, but the truth in the "division" of Oasis doesn't lie with Liam alone. The fact that every other member of Oasis is now in Beady Eye (with Liam) speaks volumes. I don't see Gem, Andy or Chris with Noel in LA! I think someone's a little bitter that his baby brother can make it on his own. Sad.
