SHREK Forever After is the #1 Movie in America. Kids love promotional items especially at McDonald's. Unfortunately the promo glasses for the latest Shrek movie has cadmium (a heavy metal that can damage kidneys and soften bones after long term exposure). There are 4 drinking glasses with painted "Shrek" movie theme designs of Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Puss in Boots and they sold for $2 each. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall warning consumers about the cadmium painted glasses and to stop using them. McDonald's has issued a statement that they will provide refunds possibly starting next week.
