Tristan MacManus & KAT: On Racism

It is more than fitting that on the 50th Anniversary of the "I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH" by Martin Luther King and the historic March on Washington For Jobs And Freedom, that I discovered a gift from the Cosmic prankster. Long story short, Tristan contacted me earlier in the summer when I mentioned that I was doing a project on Racism. This was before the acquittal of George Zimmerman of the death Trayvon Martin case went down. I was surprised to say the least that he would take the time to be a part of my project. Anyway, while we were trying to shoot this, my favorite camera was in the shop for repairs. One of my back up cameras was being used and it read after we had talked for a long time that it only taped 3 minutes. I was so upset and embarrassed that our conversation was lost and I apologized to Tristan. Fastforward to today, I finally decided to look at the video and it read 35minutes.  The camera proberly meant that there was only 3minutes left on the SD card and since I wasn't used to it, I read it wrong. Turns out the video was always there waiting for me to watch it. So here it is without any edits. It ends because the video was full. One last thing, what I feel for Tristan is not fake and because I am aware of the camera placement at all times is partially because (I've shot over 3,000 videos by myself) and I was trained believe it or not in film making. That doesn't make what I say and how I act on camera any less true.

April Has Played A Joke On Me

April has been wicked out of the gate. Just wanted to let you know why I haven’t posted anything new for several days. I’m dealing with a broken heart due to a corrupted SD Card that had some photos and videos that are irreplaceable. I think the SD Card got to hot while I was uploading work and some how stopped working when I woke up from a nap. Suffice it to say I cried bitter tears. And I learned a painful lesson. Copy and save on the desktop and external hard drive as soon as possible. I’ve never had this problem before. The Dan-Elec ProLine SD HC Card is new less than a month old 8GB that I got from Samy’s. I will never buy it again.

Noel Gallagher, Dancing With The Stars, Alex Sparrow and pictures from The Celebrity Vault Party with Douglas Kirkland and Francois Kirkland as well as some other images and videos are on the card. Last time I looked at it I could see the files but couldn't retrieve them or delete images to make space.
I’ve been procrastinating on finding out finally if the images can be retrieved. The delay has caused me to get ill. My stomach has been whack for days. I’ve been so sad I can’t think straight so I’m going to ask a friend to hold my hand when I get the results.

As soon as I can get my stomach back to normal, KAT TALES TV will be back.

Michael Jackson: The Videos by KAT of KAT TALES TV

The picture above was a poster for an art gallery showing on Fairfax last year. The odd thing was it was posted up at least a week before Michael Jackson died. I video'd MJ a few weeks before his death and before that in May. The 2nd time I was pulled by a force to go inside a building and he was there. Tall, pale but with magnificent large eyes that took you in. I asked him how he was. Anyway, I can't tell you what it was like when MJ would come to Beverly Hills. It was like waiting for Santa Claus. I was very lucky, the last words I said to Michael Jackson when his SUV turned the corner to go back to his house, was "I Love You!" I meant it. Those were some of the best moments of my life. Not many understand when I say that but you would have to have been there. The videos don't do him justice or how much FUN MJ was to be around. He truly brought Joy. And for that I am eternally grateful.

So I'm sure Quween will be happy to know, I was up all night editing and uploading 4, yes FOUR Videos of Quween alone. I aint mad at her. Actually Quween has brought so much laughter in my life. I really owe her. Everytime I around her, video her and edit her videos I find myself crying and laughing. No one has ever done that. She takes care of people in ways that humble me. A person with little material wealth is one of the Wealthiest people with spirit that I have ever known. I put her up there with Bono but Bono doesn't make me cry. I digress, anyway here they are:

KAT Update

Michael K over at Dlisted.com gave me and the Quween a shout out which is much appreciated. Dlisted.com is a very popular blog and when MK Ultra (that is what I like to call him) mentions a video, one sees the traffic instantaneously. The views to the video "Quween Hot Slut of the Day" already jumped substantially in number which is important in so many ways especially when it comes to having a TV Show. Quween was named HOT SLUT of the Week which is big on Dlisted. And KROQ has replayed her interview that she did on Friday already.
I also found out over the weekend that another German Magazine, Gala 24/2009 bought my pictures of "German actor Til Schweiger filming his reality TV show on Hollywood & Highland" - Los Angeles, California - 13.03.09. Til Schweiger is in Inglorious Bastards with Brad Pitt coming out very soon.

Lastly, I photographed and video'd super sexy and talented Teyana Taylor over 2 weeks ago, TMZ and some other media took a spin without doing their research.
Teyana is a multitalented performer and choreographer who is popular in the hip hop community.
They just didn't want to do the right thing but by them making up untruths about Taylor (referring to her as a Rihanna look alike and the new GF of Chris Brown) they just gave her more heat, more publicity. Hopefully Taylor will drop her album out in the summer so she can benefit from the attention.
